Albert Ave Multi-Residential Project

Albert Ave is a boutique collection of two and three-bedroom townhouses in a coveted pocket of Oakleigh. Smart Plumbing was engaged to deliver all plumbing for the project, including a complete fire and hydraulics package.

Challenges for this project included restricted site access which complicated deliveries. In addition, civil works close to the boundary and existing dwellings provided a narrow allowance for external civil drains. These challenges were resolved through careful planning, the use of smaller machinery, and backfilling which maintained ground stability.

The scope of this project included individual plumbing and gas for each townhouse, the installation of a storm water pump station in the basement, and reinformed concrete piping.

Smart Plumbing prides itself on working seamlessly in collaboration with project partners, which in this case included the consulting and hydraulics engineers, SPA Consulting. Despite challenging weather and only a nine-day timeframe, the project was completed on time and on budget.
