Yes. Blind cord anchor checks and installation are included in our inspection where required. If your property needs blind cord anchors installed to meet the safety standard, we’ll identify this during the inspection and can complete the installation as part of the rectification process.
If your current rental agreement started on or after 29 March 2021, or if a fixed term agreement rolled over into a periodic tenancy on or after that date, your property must meet the minimum standards. Even if your property is currently tenanted, we recommend an inspection to ensure ongoing compliance and avoid potential penalties or tenant disputes.
